Our Aberdeen based Energy Services team employs talented individuals who deliver Information Technology and Data Management solutions, leveraging the latest developments in systems and technology, whilst delivering a consistently first-class service to our customers.


As the pre-eminent provider of Information Technology services to the Energy Sector in Aberdeen, we have a new opportunity for a Microsoft 365 Applications SME looking to take the next step in their career. This role will involve day-to-day support and troubleshooting of a range of Microsoft 365 Applications as well as responsibility for managing  their Azure based deployment across an Enterprise level organisation.


Here's what your new role will look like...

  • Provide frontline support for Cloud Applications (Microsoft 365 suite)
  • Work with the various disciplines of IS to ensure services meet business needs.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure services meet business requirements, providing contract management support where applicable
  • Provide current use and projected demand of application operations to the Infrastructure Manager
  • Use change management processes to prevent unplanned production disruptions and outages.
  • Provide out of hours support via an on-call rota.
  • Installation, configuration, administration, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of Cloud Application portfolio
  • Related hardware accessory support and asset management
  • Technical lead in business-critical upgrades

To be considered for this opportunity you should be able to demonstrate experience across the spectrum of Microsoft 365 Applications and Azure Cloud Platform …

  • Microsoft 365: PowerApps, Power Automate / Flow, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Yammer, MS Teams
  • Microsoft 365: Tenant Administration, 365 Admin Centres, Security & Compliance, Best Practises
  • Azure AD, SAML SSO, AD Connect, Privilege Identify Management, Enterprise Application Management
  • Microsoft 365 / Azure Reporting, Group Management, Auditing, Configuration Management, Governance
  • Good familiarity with Windows operating systems (Client and Server)
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good working knowledge of IT change management processes and principles
  • ITIL Foundation (or better)
